George Santos is one of the most popular footballers in Australia. He is best known for his versatility and leadership on the field, playing for several clubs during his long career. Born in Sydney in 1977, Santos made an immediate impact in the National Soccer League (NSL) when he debuted for the Newcastle Breakers in 1995.
